Looks more like the Vols normal schedule. Now if we could get Georgia to play a similar schedule.

Alabama is Tennessee's fixed cross divisional game, rotating otherwise. IIRC played MSU last season. Doesn't UGa go to Red Stick this year? Clemson is a routine OOC regular season game IIRC. Don't recall the last time Tennessee played FSU during the regular season as an OOC opponent. Florida playing FSU makes sense, OOC, instate school. Much like Tennessee playing instate, OOC rivals Memphis and Middle Tennessee State.. Edited by humbletx, Jun 10 2013, 09:46 AM.

And your point? Few teams, in the SEC enjoy going on the road - few very few - LSU and Alabama have played some big games, on the road early - after that - no much to brag about.. Example A&M just signed a two game deal with UTSA kicking off in 2016. IMO that'll drop off when ESPN moves the SEC to a 9 game conference schedule.. |

Obviously, you have not followed the Vols over the years. Tennessee has played one of the best OOC schedule in college football over the past 30 years. It has been weaker in recent years, but still it is far superior to most programs. |
