I'm with you on that. I know hindsight is twenty-twenty, but it seems to me that those in "tornado alley" would build schools with a fortified basement. A lot of residents in the area have storm cellars, so why not take this provision for the school children. The cold air coming off the Rockies and converging with the warm moist Gulf air creates the unstable air and it's not like it just started yesterday. |
