I only care about who wants to be Vol...could care less about the ones that don't

Exactly why don't get into recruiting and the drama over 17-18 year old LOOK at MEs.

A Mizzou board writer contacted him and spoke with him for 20 seconds and the message was "I had a pretty good time".

VQ, Rivals writers, and others have texted and tried to call him to ask him about his visit and where he stands.

I am sure that the coaching staff has called and maybe they have spoken with him.

Vols assistants will likely see him early this upcoming week and Butch plans to visit him in-home on Friday.

A prominent poster from another board, FranklinVol, who was in Knoxville this weekend with some other commitments(He is a Brentwood Academy guy). He said that he was informed that Hendrix's mother texted Butch over the weekend to reassure Butch and the star that her son, Dewayne Hendrix is still committed to the Vols. FYI, she was on the official visit with her son. FranklinVol also said that he was informed that Dewayne Hendrix called Butch today after his visit to personally reaffirmed his commitment to UT.

Rivals Midwest guy confirms, this one looks like it's in the bank!

Re: Dewayne Hendrix Reply
More confirmation that the Rivals100 DE is not one for Tennessee fans to worry about... I spoke with his coach today, and his expectations are that Dewayne signs with Tennessee next week. All signs have pointed that way from every corner of this recruitment, and just passing along more confirmation of that.

A poster on another board had this to say about Dewayne Hendrix.
Quote:

He grew up in Bolivar, that is where his mother went to school. His mother moved to Ohio when he was in elementary school to get him away from a bad situation. He briefly returned to Bolivar while in the 8th grade when he lived with his grandmother. His uncle lives in Knoxville. The trip to Missouri was not a 'courtesy visit' as there was definitely a sense that he would change his commitment to Missouri. Missouri area, where he lives, has been home for him for much of his life and that prompted most of his feelings about possibly changing to Missouri. Was not about the football program or coaching staff. Those are definitely in UT's favor.
