Not me out of touch with reality Tux old friend, it's you that is in the dream world. Look it up, read the histories, each economic decline in the 20th and 21st centuries has been directly after an extended period of a Republican administrations. All three major economic dips in the last 100 years has been after 8 years of GOPs in charge. |

I would not blame the Republicans solely for any of our economic woes, nor would I blame Democrats. We do have certain financial obligations in our nation that will drag us all down. Would you care to guess who is to blame for the bottom of this chart??? http://www.usdebtclock.org/ |

You are making my point for me. Clinton passed to W the largest " budget surplus" in over75 years. He turned that into the largest "budget deficit" in American history. He was a deficit spender of unbelievable non frugality. Cost the country $10 Trillion in debts he and Cheney ran up in their spendquest with the taxpayer' money. Too bad, the country would have been much better of with a President Gore, who had the FLA vote stolen from him. |

Did you even bother to look at the website? Bush is partially responsible for the crash, but so were the lax regulations for mortages that started during the Carter years. That's why I say both parties are to blame for all of our economic woes. The socialism brought about by the Democrats will bankrupt this country once and for all. Just look at the website and you'll have to agree, or you're just a blind fool. |

As to who is a blind fool, that one is up for debate I suppose. Yes I looked at the link thoroughly and I don't disagree with it's veracity, we just disagree on how it got that way and why. No need for name calling, anyway if you can't accept my position on issues you are going to hate the future. The current younger generation is the most liberal in US history, much like the Scandinavian populations of today. It's going to be a brave new world in just a few years. Better get ready for it. |

No bias in the media eh Galla? Both CNN and the New York Times blamed the bombings in right wing "extremist" groups (code for Tea Party). http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2013/04/15/CNN-Natl-Sec-Analyst-Speculates-Right-Wing-Extremists-Could-Be-Behind-Marathon-Bombing?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2013/04/15/Kristof-Republicans-ATF We have learned that a Saudi National has been captured and is bring held in connections with the bombings. |

Tux, you can find any kind of nut-so propaganda you want of the Internet. For your position or opposed to your position, radically so, or mildly so. That's why I don't bother with "Johnny come lately" Internet news, right or left. I trust reporters and editors who have worked out in the field and have always told the story straight using facts. You should try it, it may open your eyes a little. |

Damn near all reporters are biased. They cant help it, they are human...and very few humans are actually capable of true impartiality. I've never met anyone who is actually capable of it when they have any interest whatsoever on the subject at hand. They are only separated by the degree of bias, not by the existence of it. Its a forgone conclusion that the vast...and I do mean VAST...majority of jouralists and/or journalism majors affiliate with Democrats. That's where the bias comes in. News isnt "just the facts, M'aam" anymore. It's virtually impossible to find much of any news that is entirely absent editorial content, and there are just more journalists who personally identify as Democrat to truly believe the media is not, by and large, biased in their favor. Fox news is biased in favor of conservatives, true. But they are the only ones. There's a reason Fox dominates the market, and that's it. That and their barbie dolls anyway. |
