North Korea declared that it was pulling out of the 1953 armistice with South Korea and the US. Now we learn that their leaders have a plan to launch missile strikes on the United States mainland and Hawaii with missile technology gotten from Bill Clinton and nuclear technology gotten from Bill Clinton. So, what will Obama give North Korea? Stealth bombers? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/northkorea/9960933/North-Korea-plan-to-attack-US-mainland-revealed-in-photographs.html |

That is exactly how they got that technology. You can not argue with that. |

It sure is looking like there could be something big taking place. We have moved a carrier group to the area with another carrier group in close range. We are moving stealth bombers, B52's and other fighter aircraft to the region. They are now sending in chemical warfare units to South Korea. ON the other side, China is building up it's presence along the North Korean border. China has a mess on hit's hands. They have their bastard stepchild, North Korea starting trouble, which they feel obligated to defend. Then on the other hand if North Korea threatens nuclear war, Japan and all of the other neighboring nations will build their own nuclear weapons and China will be surrounded by non-friendly to the China nuclear capable nations. |

Obama, Hagel, and Kerry rattled their sabers and are now running away like boys who just got a spanking. They do not even know what Kim's personal limits are. Don't rattle your sabers unless you are willing to back your team up with a real plan. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324100904578400833997420280.html |

We don't have an Ike, Patton, Truman or even a Reagan anymore. This pussy footing around like we have done in Iraq, and Algan is absurd. i would have made a sheet of glass out of the mountains in Afgan instead of losses countless military personnel. I would have given about five more minutes of thought to Iraq and then let it fly. Don't know what would have happened later, but I bet Obama wouldn't be President. Remember when the North Koreans took the navy ship? I would have wiped them out then. Get into it with China? I doubt it, we owe them too much money thanks to the Feds we have now, including the RHINOS. |

It's just not that easy. The real concern is not so much the nukes....I seriously doubt they're a threat to anybody. The real concern is that Wackjob Junior decides to sent his million man army south of the border and completely overwhelm the 30,000 troops we have in place (guess on that number...I think that's what it use to be several years ago) and we are suddenly involved in a full out ground war of major proportions. I don't care who you are....America's just not ready for another one of these...... |

Nobody wants war for sure. However, this current guy in the WH does not have any idea on how to deal with this situation. They rattled sabers just like N Korea does. North Korea is calling Obama's bluff and will now expect concessions from the US. North Korea also closed down the Russian Embassy and told their Ambassador to go home. |

Make no mistake going to war with North Korea is going to war with China. China supplies 90% of the food and 90% of the fuel that allows N Korea to operate. Most of that food and fuel go to the N Korean military. N Korea could not last a full week of war without resupply from China. A war, at this point, would be a most serious affair. All should be done to avoid it. |

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-04-05/us-secretly-deploys-b-1-strategic-bombers-e-6-doomsday-planes-near-north-korea With another commander in chief, I would not be afraid for this country to take on China. We would never allow ourselves to get into a prolonged ground war with them. We would wipe out battalions at a time. China can not go toe-to-toe with us at this time. I do not want to go there, but if push comes to shove, we have to do what we have to do to protect our servicemen in the area. |

China moving troops to N. Korean border China fought US troops in the first Korean war. I doubt if they wouldn't do it again. This could be serious, or it could just be a lot of bullshit. We'll see how big Barry's balls are real quick. |

We are a nation that does not have the balls to fight a war period. We are too soft. Obama will back down because his banker (China) will tell him to. Our technology and soldiers are second to none, but our leaders and media make us lose our nerve. |

You guys seem to need a little primer on our history of armed conflict with China. We have fougth the Chinese twice by proxy, the score card for those conflicts is USA 0, China 1 (Viet Nam) and there has been one tie (Korean War). So as you can see war with the Chinese is no walk in the park. China has a large number of nuclear weapons scattered all over the world (like us) They have they most up to date technology (mostly stolen from the west) of any nation in the world except the US. They have the largest Military in the world with gobs of extra people to throw at a war should it become necessary. China at this moment in time is hoisted upon it's own petard as to it's power around the world. It is feeling it's oats and is using the fat little donkey in N Korea to test the US on how far it can tweak the nose of the super power. A wise Commander in Chief (which Obama has been) will not take the bait and be drawn into a war in which it could lose S Korea and Japan as military bases and allies. Far better to further develop our Naval base in North Australia which would drive the Chinese completely insane and never have to fire a shot. It would show the Chinese and the N Koreans that if you are going to act in a belligerent manner we will simpley increase our capabilities in the area. Bluster fails. |
