#tennessee commit Jalen Hurd literally ran over his man in 1-on-1's. The response by the while LB group in unison? "HE'S NOT A RUNNING BACK"

2. Jalen Hurd

One linebacker asked to go up against Hurd in pass drills. He probably regrets that decision. The linebacker tried to muscle Hurd, but the result was the Tennessee commit instead barreling over the linebacker, catching the pass and waltzing into the end zone. Built more like a linebacker, Hurd held his own in pass protection and then showed his athleticism in one-on-one drills against the linebackers.

“I would say the RB, that one MVP, Jalen Hurd,” Shai McKenzie, who has more than 30 offers, said when asked who impressed him most. “He’s a good athlete, powerful. … His route running is better than most. I watched the explosion in his routes and I picked up a little bit.”

"Jalen Hurd....

There are some really good RBs in 2014 class... I know ppl say that Leonard Fournette is the best back in the nation...but Hurd has a second gear that none of the other RBs in his class have... I have been involved with Tennessee HS football since 93....he is the best back I have ever seen from this state during that timespan.....a once in a lifetime player....this kid is a sure fire 5 star...and there really shouldn't be any 2nd thought about it....."

"There should be nothing left to see.... I think even the Rivals guys just based on the film alone should have him as a 5 star...now that he has been seen by others...then it should be a no brainer.....to even suggest this kid has to be seen more or has work to do to be a 5 star is absurd....and you have to question the talent evaluators if that is the case.....what else needs to be seen......they should have made him a 5 star immediately after the camp in Columbus....its just such a no brainer...... in the modern era of football he may be the best back this state has ever produced..."
