I have no respect for Kennedy Polamalu. He was a Titans coach who showed zero respect towards that organization. In fact, he has shown little respect for his bosses wherever he has been at.

Ha, ha, you gotta love these comments. Looks like Boy Kiffin's dream job is turning into his worst nightmare!

Could be Polamalu was fired because he coached 5'6" Curtis McNeal into a 1,000 yard rusher in 2011 and averaged 6.0 ypc in 2012, despite Kiffin's insistence on playing other backs until injured when McNeal practically got his carries by default. Still remember Curtis knocking Manti Teo on his ass in the 2011 game.

Talking about knocking on asses, Kennedy should have kicked Kiffin's from El Paso to Juarez.

Larry, anything to the rumor that Kiffin was sauced off his gord the night before the Sun Bowl?

Now we know why Kiffy Boy wore sunglasses the whole game at the Sun Bowl even though it was a cloudy day. He got that eye dotted in the locker room before kickoff...Priceless!!

Interesting. Do you know why Kiffin had Kennedy as a coach, especially one who was suppose to be calling the plays. Did Kiffin's father get Kennedy the job? It just seems strange that they would put a hard to get along coach in a position where Kiffin really called the plays. You'll have to agree, Sou Cal is a train wreck.

Ole Crazy Al was in his right mind when it came to Kiffin. Wonder if Kiffin will survive the upcoming season?

Well Pat Haden has certainly demonstated that he is not afraid to pull the trigger on a change. He has fired the basketball coach and baseball coach within the last two months. Now Boy Kiffin goes into the season with a true sophomore quarterback that did not look good in the last couple of games for the Trojans. And frankly, I don't believe Haden likes Boy or cares much for the way Boy operates. :beers:

Kiffin has always called his own plays.

Kennedy has not gotten along with any of his head coaches at any level. He has a reputation as a very good position coach but a poor reputation of following orders.

He was brought into USC to be a recruiter who played at USC.

Kiffin creates most of his own messes, but Kennedy is a coach who brings a lot of baggage with him.

Remember that it was Haden, who was the pont man of the search panel that recommended to then USC AD, Mike Garret that USC hire Kiffin. So, in effect, Kiffin is Haden's hire. Haden will stick with Kiffin for another year or two. Nobody of worth wants the job because of the sanctions.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to talk with a former UCLA assistant coach who told me that he was surprised that Kiffin wasn't fired this year because of such high expectations for USC. He wondered how the new assistant coaches would work out there. But he did say he hated to see any coach fired.

Someone posting in this thread praised Kiffin and predicted greatness, then attacked anyone who questioned him.
Hint: It's the same person who predicted the same with Dooley and Sunseri.

His predictions are :icon_shit:
