Bars and Hurd are going to be tough to get. Bars has a brother playing at MI and another at PSU. Family just moved to TN in last few years so not a long term TN resident and no ties to UT. Dool's has put us way behind Hurd and OSU is the clear leader right now. They are going to talk about the 2014 OL at UT having 5 new starters. |

Urban had a soft schedule and this year will be even easier. Once he faces a top team and loses, he will start getting uptight again. |

Butch runs the ball about 55%-60% of the time. What RB will not like that? With our OL this next season, I will not be surprised if we lead the SEC in rushing. |

Ohio State is one team I will watch just to see them get beat. THE most irrelevant team in college football last year. Just CANNOT STAND Ohio State. |

Tennessee will NOT have five new starters in '14. Marcus Jackson, the new left guard, will just be a junior this fall. Also, it is not a given that Tiny Richardson goes out for the draft. His father wants him to get his degree, so we shall see what he does. |

Unless he is either extremely intelligent and/or from an affluent family and has no worries about what to do with the rest of his life sans football or something, he should go. I watched the replay of the UT-SC game not too long ago, because I'd never erased it and was cleaning up my TIVO. I spent most of it watching Richardson. Richardson is as talented of an offensive lineman as we've ever had. He was still pretty raw last year, and what he did on Clowney all damn game except for that LAST PLAY was just amazing...because Clowney is so good its cheating. Richardson may be top 5 if he improves in 2013 and comes out early. I just dont think kids in that situation should take a risk on that kind of opportunity and money. I mean I'd love it if he stayed and all, but just sayin' |

First, I believe Tiny is Academic All-SEC, he is very intelligent. And yes, Clowney didn't want no mo after that game. If you will also recall. Tiny was basically playing on one good leg as he had tweaked a knee and maybe even had to have fluid drained the week of the game. Obviously he is going to be a very rich young man if he does not suffer a serious injury. Left tackles who can protect the QB are primo draft targets for NFL teams. It's just probably wishful thinking on my part that he would stay for senior year. I believe that he will be a legitimate candidate for the Outland Trophy this fall. |

J Hurd may be the single most important recruit in CBJ career as HC at TN. Get him and all kinds of possibilities open up. Miss him and be thought of as a coach that can't land his big, instate talent. |

What ya gonna do if J. Hurd takes a little growing spurt over the summer and goes back to school at six feet, five inches tall? I certainly wouldn't call him the most crucial recruit for Butch Jones, as a matter of fact, right now it would be between Dillon Bates and Todd Kelly, Jr. How ya feelin Galla? Good to see you back! |
