I agree on #5 when Jones is given a reasonable amount of time to prove himself. #3 is the handicap that Jones is saddled with. To undue what Dooley did in three years is a daunting task |

A reasonable amount of time would have started with the hiring of his staff - to include some top notch recruiters. Could have kept Pittman (continuity AND a pipeline to talent) and likely picked up an out of work Trooper Taylor (who's son we have offered - and who Ainge said is a GREAT kid and very good athlete). Hart should have demanded and dictated a certain percentage of his assistant staff. Those two VERY doable things would have produced better results than we saw yesterday. |

Trooper has way too much baggage to have on staff any time in the near future. I mean, we need to hire "A" Trooper Taylor, but not "The" Trooper Taylor, if that makes any sense. He's not the only recruiting machine out there. |

Depressing reading all of the impact players mentioned in this column that chose other schools over Tennessee. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/college-football/news/20130207/recruiting-rankings-rivals-top-25-classes/?sct=hp_t2_a3&eref=sihp# |

I'm not all that depressed. Dooley ran our program into the ground so far it's a wonder we didn't finish with a #40-50 class. In just a short time, Butch got our class to a #20-25 class ranking. Just imagine how we'll feel this time next year with a top 10 class! |
