I'm still trying to gather the results of the carnage, but here's what I got so far ...

Offense:
  • Most total yards, 718
  • Most passing yards, 530 (previous record was 523 by Manning in 1997 vs. Kentucky)
  • Most passing yards in a half, 313 (surpassing Bray's record from 308 vs. Memphis in 2010)
  • Tied record for first downs in a game with 35 (Georgia on Oct. 11, 1997 also had 35).
  • The 400 combined receiving yards by Patterson and Hunter were the most in school history by a receiving duo.

Defense:
  • Most yards given up by a defense, 721 (prior record was 634 by Kentucky in 1997)
  • Most passing yards given up by a defense, 496

Other notables:
  • The 103 combined points is the most in Neyland Stadium history
  • No team has scored more than 40 points inside of Neyland Stadium since Washington State put up 52 in 1988.
  • Patterson, career high 219 yards on 9 catches
  • Hunter, career high 181 yards on 9 catches
  • Bray's 530 yards is the second-most passing yards by an SEC quarterback in the conference's history. Only Georgia's Eric Zeier had a better day, piling up 544 vs. Southern Miss in 1993.
  • Lane, career high rushing with 132 yards on 19 carries
  • Smokey IX started out 0-1 (loss at the Peach Bowl in 2004), and his career is now 51-48 (he retires at the end of this season).
  • Tennessee's final drive, in which Marlin Lane had a nine-yard run with 1:25 remaining, was Dooley's first game-winning drive in regulation.

Had to do some checking, but that final touchdown of Lane's was Dooley's first game-winning drive in regulation while at UT.
