I do not have a link, but I was reading that Vols OL coach, Sam Pittman, said that he believes that all five of the Vols starting OL will be drafted by the NFL, when their time comes for the draft. I would venture to say that you could add Bullard and Marcus Jackson into that same conversation.

Damn near all of them will have 35-40 or so SEC starts when they graduate, which is probably worthy of a draft pick on it's own.

OL should really be good next year. Defense may suck again and we may be rebuilding our offense largely from scratch otherwise, but the OL should be damn good.

Our offense is need of a pure RB. If we could land Green or Kamara, that would go a long ways to strengthening our ground game. With the possibility that we could have a new QB at the helm, we could ride the backs of our OL and a strong run game next season. We still need a gig strong blocking TE.

The thing is they are not strong run blockers. I have reviewed every game this season and our O-Line are very average run blockers at best. Maybe they would be better with a game-breaker RB to block for, but right now they are excellent pass blockers but barely average run blockers. They probably will all get a look by some NFL team, they have physical potential. imo

Based on........?

The numbers show that they are quite effective. Our total rushing yards are way up from a year ago and our yards per carry are way up. Then when you look at their pass blocking, you see that this is a very talented group.

The numbers? Last year? That was them blocking last year. They were sorry run blockers last year too. Check their average against UGA, ALA etc or just check them against every SEC team we have played, they are behind every team in nearly every category.

We are averaging almost 159 yards per game on the ground and 4.5 yards per carry.

Those are good numbers considering that we have faced 5 of the most talented defenses in the country and have played the last two games without our best RB.

How many teams in the entire nation and even in the SEC have faced the defenses that we have faced and held our own against?

Chaney up to the challenge of changing directions and installing a power running game?

I'm not sure that matters
