NCAA rules prohibit the release of any stats from scrimmages. Today, the Vols scrimmaged Ga Tech and some of the players tweeted that our guys "killed them". |

After this soap opera of a football season, I'm REALLY looking forward to basketball. We're getting way less preseason sunshine pumping than football and we will have a very successful season...particularly compared to football. One of my mentors when I was a good bit younger always said to under promise and over perform. That appears to be Martin's style. I think the big key will be how much Golden has improved, particularly on defense, and if Armani Moore can play the point well enough to give him 8 minutes of rest each game. I suspect that a year under Martin will have served Golden well, and we'll be big, and strong, and athletic and flat wear some teams out by playing defense like rabid badgers. |
