Observations from my first time seeing them in person: What a tough loss....Clowney stuck a fork in us in the end. The offensive line was fabulous. Richardson, for the most part, nuetralized Clowney. If our defense is even half assed, we win this game. Rogers played the game of his life....We've got to keep him on the field, even if we alternate Hunter and Patterson. If it's anywhere near him, he'll drag it in. The biggest difference I could see between our wideouts and theirs is that they run much better routes and they will really fight you for yardage after the catch. Instead of dancing around like Hunter, the will smack you in the face and fight. The Lattimore injury was touching....all the SC bench and most of the UT bench surrounded him while they put him on the cart with a lot of the players making personal condolences to Marcus. I'm guessing he broke something as they put an air splint on his leg. Did Palardy really punt the ball three yards? I think he followed that up with a twenty yarder. Then he kicked one with a 1 second hang time that was returned for 25. At least he keeps it interesting. Can Broudus punt? Bray played a hell of a game. That scramble pass to Rogers in the 4th quarter was as good an effort as I've ever seen from him. Hunter was better, but he had a critical pass go through his hands and broke off a route that would have been a good gainer if he didn't slow down. SC's wideouts were open EVERY play. Most of the time they were wide open. It was just a matter of whether Shaw found them and delivered an accurate pass. Johnson is an all american linebacker playing on a horrible defense. Our defensive backs may be the worst UT tacklers in a long time. Howard is really fast....we've got to get him the ball ala Patterson. If I'm Hart...I'm hard pressed to can Dooley after this game. Yes the defense is retched.....but I saw zero quit in this team. With just a little bit of luck late in the game, we come away with a win. |

He has to either can him or give him a public extension of his contract. We can't recruit with all the indecision hanging over the program. Either way Sunseri has to go. All those kids on defense can't be that bad. |

I go to every ut game in columbia. It's ninety minutes from the house. So it's every other year for football and every year for basketball. This year I attended a great tailgate by some usc fans (my wife is a usc grad)....and had a wonderful time. The game was exciting to the end....too bad our d can't keep us in games.... |

Read on Gamecock Central that Lattimore has a broken tibua, a torn ACL/MCL/LCL/PCL and chipped his patella, and sartorius tendon rupture along with pes anserinus tears. That was painful to watch on the replay. Quite touching to see both benches come to the center of the field to wish him well. I had never seen anything like that before. |

Lattimore- No Broken Bones - But Heavy Ligament Damage I read where team doctors and SOS said that Lattimore could play football again in another year or two. That tells you the severity of this injury. |
