Hurricane Sandy is expected to be be sending some gusty wind to the Columbia area. Reports that I hear are that we should expect the wind to be about 20 mph. I understand that the winds will blow in and against the direction of the field of play. Thus we will get two quarters with the wind at our back and two quarters with it in our face.

That stadium is pretty high on all sides. I'm not sure the wind will be that much a factor. If it is....we're screwed as SC's offense is much more wind proof than ours......

Edit....I just remembered the endzone where all the students sit isn't as high as the rest of the stadium.....but I don't think Alice or whatever her name is, is going to be much of a factor. By noon, she's supposed to be blowing on up the coast. I wouldn't want to live on the coast in New England early next week......
