This is my upset special. I think the Vols get it done. Could be wrong, but if they are fired up they will beat a tired SC team. Read the College Football News prediction, which is right on the money.

South Carolina, in my mind, is not much different than MSU - Tennessee is a more talented team. The team, however, has to get it done.

Tennessee 35, Junior 23

South Carolina - a much better defense than MSU - especially at the DE positions. In consistent route running - as well as Bray's "brain fades" during the game can be costly vs a good defense..

Next can USC's offense RTDB vs the Sunseri defense?

Tuscaloosa Central Highschool could run the ball vs. a Sunseri defense. So...yeah, USCe can.

Coordinators seem to find leaks in the defense with ease. I couldn't imagine Spurrier being any different.

Tennessee becoming a basketball school creates this type of confusion.

Junior won't score 63 on the Vols ... they would have their second string in long before then.

Way off topic. Come on boys, get happy. I remember something from 1985. There was a misty rain or even a light drizzle the morning that No. 1 Auburn came to town. I was on the elevator with a young offensive line coach named Phil Fulmer at the sports complex. I inquired of him if he thought the rain would give one team or the other the advantage. The ex-Vol offensive guard looked me straight in the eye and said, "It doesn't matter if it's raining or not, we are going to kick Auburn's ass today!" The rest, as they say, is history. Bo Jackson had enough in the third quarter or early fourth and he was outta there. He had been hounded and hammered all day long. I'm pretty sure he could have told us after the game what flavor of gum Dale Jones and Kelly Ziegler were chewing.
Anyway, when we got back to the car and turned on the radio, I do remember that this was probably the first song that we heard. From the same year, 1985, the Manhatten Transfer, and we all broke into some serious do-wop right there in the parking lot.
