There is a rumor out there on espn insider that says that a out of work college football coach that lives in Knoxville has interest in the Kentucky job should it open up.

Anyone else think that this is a trial balloon to see if the gambit might draw some interest from a guy named Hart?

Not likely since it's known that Fulmer has gone to bat to defend Dooley and has said he needs another year, minimum.

Kentucky would be a good fit for Fulmer

I doubt if Fulmer will coach again. He may have a couple years ago but he's getting old and has his hand involved in several things I've been told. Plus he has several Grandchildren now and they all live nearby to them. Kentucky needs someone who can recruit more than anything.

Didn't he state publicly that he wouldn't take a job where he had to play UT?
