That's the worst display of football against an inferior opponent that I have ever seen. |

I'm starting to think we might not cover the spread. |

Rogers another big drop. Cost us points again. Hunter needs to get stronger. He struggles beating press coverage. |

Noticing that Patterson has been very quiet. zHe ran the wrong routes on multiple plays in first quarter. |

Neal gas a loose ball right in front if him and can't even round it up. Horrible hands. |

Not liking our coverage schemes. They haven't proven that they can or will throw the ball deep but we continue to give their WRs lots o f cushion. |

Akron had not stopped us out in the middle if the field all night long. We get away from our strength and who we are. Three straight runs and now we punt. tnphil must be calling plays. |

Mission accomplished. We won game, got our kicker some confidence, and now Georgia will probably overlook us. I was hoping Akron would get one more TD to make the score look even worse. |

Gateway, you nailed it, I gotta give you credit. I figured a letdown, but also figured we'd not be in a game by the end of the 3rd. |

We escaped with a win. We did not click on all cylinders in the red zone and our defense missed the same plays that Florida scored on us. Neal and Lane ran hard tonight. Watson did nothing to impress me. He is just too small to get many carries. I noticed early on that we were lining our tight ends on the short side of the field and the defensive ends were coming around the other end and getting to our backs in the backfield. We made some adjustments and started knocking off chunks of yardage. Bray started off with the worst throw of his career at UT but settled in to make some nice throws. Our secondary concerns me against Georgia. Too much cushion and the middle of the field was left wide open. |

I've seen worse. At least we found a kicker, and Neal actually looked pretty good. I know, I know...Akron's D sucks. That's as good as he's ever looked, though. Neal has at least gotten better with every game this season. Pick six and the breakdown on the one run made the game a lot closer than it should have been. |

A lot of dropped passes in the red zone. We had 3 of them that led to field goals rather than TDs. We left 12 points on the field in the first half alone. Georgia will have a lot to prepare for in facing our offense. That is for sure. Marlin Lane and Cp forced a couple of guys to leave their jocks on the field tonight, with some very nifty moves. |

I garontee you I wouldn't have called 3 straight passing plays inside the 10 with 2 minutes to go in the first half...But we did get our kicker some much need experience tonight in the red-zone!! |
