Not to sound negative, but our success or failure depends on #8. He needs to remember not every series is going to be a touchdown, and to make all of his reads. Sometimes a checkdown is a great play.
Not to be disagreeable, but the best teams in the SEC win with defense. If you are expecting Bray to out-score teams like Georgia without any sniff of solid defense, then you are in for more disappoiintments this year.
If your QB decides to quit, your team can't score. Bray got frustrated and mentally was not in the game. UT was ahead at that point in the game. Defense is a huge ingredient of any team, but you can't win if you can't score (unless your defense puts up points too).

Bray needs to show everyone he is capable of putting the team on his back and carry them to victory. If he was as mentally tough as Casey Clausen, he'd win the Heisman.
Totally agree with your points about Bray in this post. Bray is a wuss until he shows he is not. He still has not beaten a ranked team. He went totally away from checkdown throws in the last quarter. I am not a fan of Bray's and until he beats a Georgia or Alabama or South Carolina I will continue to believe he is only a Sunshine Superman, but when it gets cloudy, he checks out.
As far as defense, if Florida had been held to 17 points, Tennessee would have won the football game. :powerT:

I have not lost faith in this team, as some fans clearly have. I'm not going to let one disappointing game ruin this season. O)ne game does not make an entire season. There is a reason why they play the games that are on paper.

They made some big mistakes in the stretch run last week and are working to correct them. We are still short of top talent at a few positions and hopefully we get that rectified in this next recruiting class. The guys we have in place for the most part are still young and are getting better.

This team has come a long way in one season. We saw what they are capable of doing in the first half last week. This team is not a finished product and is made up of 18-22 year old young men. If we lose some more games, I'm not going to throw a temper tantrum and beat on my chest while proclaiming that I will not accept mediocrity or get pissy because I do not like the offense or defense.. Winning is not an entitlement. It takes talent, depth, stability, and dedication to a plan. I believe that we have a solid plan in place and are on the right path to winning again. Any deviation from that plan will only result in a longer delay from returning to winning at UT.

I don't think team is beyond criticism but I didn't like that guy calling the morning show and calling all the players stupid. That's just not right. Doc should have cut it out. Heather did condemn the caller pretty good. Ol Small Mike called with a temper tantrum too but didn't say anything real personal toward anyone but was pissed that they were being short with negative callers. Pretty wild show sometimes. Why don't you all start listening to Doc,Jeff, and Heather in the morning. Docs pretty funny sometimes.
