Hunter and CP played the whole game?

According to Hunter in this interview he said that he and CP played the whole game, and implied every snap. If that is true, or even nearly true, then this is some really bad game management from Chaney. Really bad.

No wonder our passing game plummeted in the 4th.

That is a big problem.

We need to get Croom, Bowles and Howard a lot of playing time this week.

Hopefully, we will have our tight ends back up to snuff. I still like the idea of Bullard playing the locking tight end.

Yeah, it's confirmed. Dooley said in today's press conference that CP and Hunter "had over 70 snaps", and also that Rivera and Neal had too many snaps.

This isn't on one coach. You can't be blaming Chaney without including Dooley. Everyone seems to be focusing on Cheney, but forget the other side of the ball. The defense fell apart in this game too!

@ BJ: plenty of blame to go around for this one.

I'm more or less done with assigning blame though, I'm more concerned about solutions at this point. I'll worry about blame at the end of the season (or, at least, much closer to the end).

I am blaming you Zippy. Tux can't see it despite all the evidence that you, Zippy, are the reason the Vols lost.

Okay BJ. You want to play the blame game. What do you do next? More emotional overreaction?

In case you did not know, there are 9 games left to play, including one on Saturday.

Geez! Tux! Tux! Tux! The program is in free fall because of Zippy and the curse he placed on the team. It's not the running game or the blown defensive plays, it's the curse.

I would imagine that Zach Rogers played almost as many snaps as the other two. BTW, just sayin, Rogers had the best hands on the team last Saturday night. That play he made on the deflection was magnificent.
The first half is when they should have gotten some of the other guys in. That is what Florida was doing, particularly with their defensive front seven. I expect to see the Pig rooting around on the field this weekend!

That's true.

Another silver lining from Florida: ZRo actually looks like a WR this year. He's significantly improved. Quite possibly the most improved on the team (honestly) from last season. I wish his light-bulb had come on a couple of seasons ago, but right now we could do worse in the slot.
