What an ass! Cheap shots are his way of making a living. He shouldn't cover the Vols and he should be banned from the campus. He claims to tell it like it is, but he doesn't know how to present a story without such inappropriate comments! The only part of the article I agree with is on is Bray. He's a spoiled brat who can't conduct himself with class.

He's right though. UT's problem is that they are mentally weak. Relatively speaking, that's about as fair of a blog as he's made.

I have to disagree Zippy. I was at the game and the Vols fought hard but after the long runs, they were demoralized. It's part of football, the ups and downs that take place during game. It's what they do now that counts. I am concerned about "Beer Can" Bray because he shows so little leadership.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.

Leadership is not merely planting hope at cookouts, but it is making hope a reality during set-backs.

The only film I would have Bray watching this week would be of Vol quarterbacks of the past leading their team to victories when they were down. That's leadership.

We have good cookout leadership. We need fourth quarter leadership.

I'd have Bray watch endless clips of Casey Clausen playing with a separated shoulder, lowering his head for a first down long after he'd lost his helmet, diving for the end zone pylon to beat Alabama, etc.

I've seen lots of people say he needs to talk to Peyton. That's not really true, his weaknesses are not Peyton's strengths. He needs to talk to Casey and Tee...who were both tougher than coffin nails.

Bass Silly O is a radio pimp that has to sell his own advertising and buy the time on the air from the station. He has a very shallow knowledge of the game of football and is now trying to survive on sensationalism, National Inquirer-type reporting. Then the fans who don't know anymore about the nuts and bolts of football than him follow him like whittle lambs. It's really disgusting and once again they will damage efforts to bring in big time talent in the next recruiting class.

Dooley's got to beat someone this year if he wants to improve the talent. It's just the way it is. What Basilio says right now isnt going to have anywhere nearly the effect Dooley's record will. If he beats UGA, USC or Alabama (and wins the rest)? Recruiting will take off. If he doesnt, it probably wont.
