I saw your post on that other site. I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with a negatron like Beer anymore. However, you were more right than that dumb dipstick even knows. Here's why: Florida's offense had no identity last year. They wanted to run a more traditional offense, then Brantley got hurt. After that they tried three, maybe four guys at QB, including the two big boys, Trey Burton and Jordan Reed, who were recruited by CUM to follow in Tebow's footsteps. Then they played the two freshmen before Brantley's return and he was basically ineffective and still probably hurt when he came back. Mustardchamp has a tendency to play guys who are still banged up. So, your theory about their offense perhaps being a shade better this season could, in fact, be true. Last year it was Rainey and Demps and that was about it. This year, they have a heavier back, a scat back, and a very smart, albeit, very young quarterback who can make plays with his arm or his feet. But as you saw, the negs want to make light of many sensible and thoughtful statements and try and demean the poster. But again, you had a thoughtful post that made a lot of sense, at least to me.

Tux, He is a former Flumer Felcher who tries to hide his true feelings. He is definitely a refugee from Chit Chat but I don't know which one he is. |

Then maybe he just has his own agenda. I just think it's silly to say you should fire a coach over one game against the #18 ranked team in the nation that's beat you 8 years in a row. There will be a lot of fans actually doing that if we lose and it's stupid because you can see improvement in team and individuals and we still are a year away from building a full team. I would think it's very a rare for a team with as few seniors as TN to win more than 8 games yet some are saying if we don't go at least 10-2 he's got to go. OK whatever. |
