I've been out of the loop for the past couple of days, but I am hearing that Curt Maggitt has turf toe and will not play tomorrow. He has to be healthy for the Florida game. Anyone with a source? |

He was son the practice field but very limited. Turf Toe is a scarey proposition. (See Marsalis Teague 2011). I doubt that Maggitt plays tomorrow. |

Bleh. It's GA State so who cares, but he better be healthy for Florida. Maggitt is going to be a force this year. He was all over the damn place vs. NCSt. It's like someone combined Leonard Little, Raynoch Thompson and Nick Reveiz's DNA and that's what came out. Kid's a freak. |

They have not diagnosed it as "Turf Toe" yet but It sounds like it. I believe Dooley said that both Maggitt and Lathers would start and be assessed during the first quarter. I think they play a few plays and come out. No reason to risk it after they have done the starter's routine. |

Here's the thing with turf toe: it hurts. But that's about it. I had it one season in college. Rest, Ice...and pain meds, if you can deal with the pain you are good. |

It is apparently minor toe injury, or minor turf toe ... no real concerns at the moment from the coaching staff. But, he is walking around in a boot. |

We had a RB that had it his senior year...Shot him up before the game and he would make it fine durning the game...But boy when that shot wore off the poor kid was in pain. Had to do it the whole season...but he toughed it out. |

Yup, that's the deal. Kill the pain and keep going, plenty of time to cry later. |

We are snake bit at kickers and punters. Both rated high but perform low. |
