They are very unsettled in the secondary. I believe they just moved the backup QB to safety on defense. Not a whole lot of seniors on this squad either. They are still building a program and Curry is probably as good a coach as anyone for handling that big chore.

I'm actually pretty amazed with this team. I mean, they are only in their third year of existence and I just read that they are joining the SunBelt conference next year ... that's Zero to FBS in 4.0.

And, starting a football team in this economic climate? That's manly, and counter to the push-up bra trend of eliminating football programs .... yes, ETSU, I'm thinking of you.

(I believe that most of their team is 0-stars ... one or two 3-stars and a handful of 2-stars).

They have a smattering of transfers from D1 schools but the squad is mostly been recruited by Curry. Certainly, being in Jawja is an advantage because of the sheer volume of talent in that state.

They are bigger than I thought they would be. They are our size at nearly every position except LB, and of course they have no 6'7" 370 lbs NG.
