Reggie Harper Passed Away

Reggie was from right up the road from me in Hartsville. His playing days around here are legendary and he had a great career at UT. I have heard some funny as heck stories about his UT f=days as well.

He was one of the first players I knew along with Noonan, Hancock, and Gault. One of most talented tight ends we've ever had but injuries limited his career to what it could have been. He has one of my all time favorite highlights. His one handed TD catch at Auburn in 1980 in the game we beat them 42-0 after they bombarded us with oranges when we ran on the field and it continued throughout the game.
