Do you think Marquis Pair will play TE in certain goal line and short yardage situations?

I want them to run McCullers in short yardage , either as a blocking fullback or as a tailback!

William Perry weighed in at about 290-300 pounds. That is not a big deal these days.

Perry was like 320 at the combine, and I'm fairly sure that's as light as the fatass ever got. He got up over 350 for a bit later on in his career.

But no, not all that big a deal these days. 25 years ago, though...that was huge.

In 1985, there were only 6 NFL players that weighted over 300 lbs. How times have changed! High schools are now loaded with 300 lbs linemen.

I remember back in 1960's and 1970's, Winston Hill was one of the few if not the only 300 lb player in the league and he was seen as a giant.

I watched a rerun of the Neb vs Oka game of 1971. The announcer was commenting on the big Neb linemen who went 250 lbs and was 6ft 5 inches. Now linebackers are that big. They say 1970 was the modern era of football because of the use of weights and I would guess steroids.

Perry was agile til he hurt his knees, they used to claim at Clemson that he could two hand dunk a bb.
