If you have not read this, you really should. It reads as if Lane Kiffin was making the rules. He was so ahead of the curve on recruiting and how it would evolve. Many f the things that this column deals with were somewhat employed by Kiffin when he was at UT.

He had non-on-the-field staff positions filled by guys who handled many facets of the recruiting process that will be treated as a general manger of football operations so to speak.

This soon-to-be position of General manager would have been a great lace for Dooley to have put his good friend and former Vols DB coach, Terry Joseph.

I'll say it again: Lane Kiffin is going to be a great coach. He'd have won big @ UT.
