So much for Obama's support for "Arab Spring" and for middle east peace. Of course smart people understand that Islam does not want peace and that the religion's followers want Israel destroyed. Why do Liberals overwhelmingly support the muslim cause to destroy Israel? New Eqgyptian President Says That Jerusalem Shall Be Our New Capital Allah Willing |

Calm down Tux. Just give them 20 minutes of talking that way and the Egyptian military will take over again. As I remember it we sat that one out. Now the Egyptian people had the opportunity to choose autocracy, theocracy or democracy. They chose badly and now they will learn what living without $300 million in American aid feels like. As I said, it's is just a matter of time until they are a military dictatorship again.

Staying out of Egypt worked out really well for us. Obama is the foreign policy master. |

Damn, that's not even the newly elected president Tux. Watch that clip now it has the REAL President of Egypt speaking instead of some Islamic nut. According to CBS news the REAL President has said that Egypt must honor her commitments including the ones to the US and to Israel. He talked about greater progress for women's rights and greater freedoms for all Egyptians. He might turn out to be the boogeyman yet, but he is not sounding like it right now. |

Obama is telling the Egyptian Military that they must turn their power over to the Muslim Brotherhood. If that happens there will be war in the middle east. |

Find me that quote Tux, where Obama is specifically telling the Egyptian Military that they MUST turn their power over to the Muslim Brotherhood? That is beyond what Presidents do. |

Let me know what President's are not supposed to do and contrast that to what Obama has done. |

military dictatorship is more or less our best option for Egypt in the near to mid term future (at best, more likely: forever). Sad but true. Keep in mind: the type of government you have is a means to an end. As far as the US is concerned, we want freedom for the population. We have a constitutional republic simply becuase that's the most likely means to reach that end (if anyone ever comes up with an idea to ensure the benevolence of the preferred benevolent dictator, let me know). As for Egypt, what we want is a country that is a) not going to try to blow up Israel (nor will they use the threat of it to extort ever more billions from us) and b) more or less gets along with our interests. Freedom for it's people is a goal, true, but a secondary one insofar as we are concerned. Basically, we have to use realpolitik in the mideast. Idealism doesnt have much of any place in the discussion as far as we are concerned. |

All that article says to me is what I already knew, the Egyptian Military is still in full control and will be as long as the US supports it. The new President can't declare a war or even sent troops to anywhere in the world unless it is approved by the Military Council (owned by the US). |

Just remember Galla, the Muslim Brotherhood controls the office of the presidency in Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood is not about democracy. it is only about sharia. |

The Muslim Brotherhood took power because Obama gave them the money and the opportunity to wrest it away from the old regime. Today, the military pulled off a coup d'etat of Obama's chosen leader of Egypt. The US media had been rather quiet about this as the protesters across Egypt rallied the past few nights. Obama does not like this one. The muslims in Egypt told Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood to go to hell |

What is taking place in Egypt reveals the hypocrisy of the liberals and the muslims ploy. The muslims are not ready to work peacefully with one another, much less the Israelis. |
