Good piece by John Adams on some lights at the end of the tunnel. http://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2012/jun/22/john-adams-ut-sports-due-for-an-upgrade/ |

"due for an upgrade" - no question about that The new UTAD will make sure the upgrades fast track. He comes to the Hill from a school that many believe is on the cusp of being a true dominant powerhouse in all sports - much like Florida. |

Can't disagree with your opinion there Texie. I would disagree with Adams on one point, women's basketball is not going anywhere soon. Maybe when they bring Nikki Caldwell or Kellie Jolly Harper home then the program might rise again. |

Holly may do good. She is quite personable so you would think she could recruit. |

Nothing against Holly, but replacing a legend virtually always ends badly. Summit is, relative to her sport, a legend without peers....virtually impossible for anyone to replace her. Her replacement if almost guaranteed to be a transitional hire for the next guy/gal 3 to 4 years down the road. |
