The new normal is that a wide-screen TV, cushy recliner, pizza (delivered) and an HDTV package is cheaper and more convenient than season tickets, parking hassles, and over-priced & tasteless concessions.

Replace the benches with seats and lower the prices so that students and casual fans can develop into hard-core fans.

Living 8-hours away from Knoxville makes going to games impractical for me, so I only go to one game a year. But, if I lived closer I don't think I could deal with all the hassles on a weekly basis ... and probably would top out at 3 games a year.

Had season tickets for many years and I gave them up in 1995 because my son went to college and played football for 4 years so that took up my Saturdays in the fall. My intentions was to start back after my son finished playing but I just got to the point after so many years driving 5 1/2 hours to Knoxville and the same coming back home it just wasn't fun anymore.

Just as big of fan today as I was when I had season tickets but I enjoy staying home and watching it on the tube. Of course many years ago we didn't play on TV much and that played a part in having season tickets...Of course age has a lot to do with it too
