There's so much you could do with this name. I wish we would get him and he become starting QB one day. I like the way he see's the field and reads the progression on those type of plays. Can't you still grow a couple more inches at his age? Even if he don't, he can still be a QB. It's not fair to compare him to Drew Breese, but it's not uncommon for a major college QB to be that size.

There's a reason why half of those highlights are of him as a safety ... his height isn't his only problem, for it doesn't look like he has arm strength either. But, on the upside it looks like he can roll out and then throw with accuracy. If he can manage a game, he might be a Simms kind-of player.

I would think that a UTC, or a school like that, would give him a shot.

We aren't. He got a tryout last week, but he didn't get an offer.

Good. Looks like a great kid to run the scout team offense in practice, but if he wants a scholarship he needs to look elsewhere. His absolute best-case scenario on the SEC level is AJ Suggs, but I think that's a stretch. Arm looks like jello, and he's short with limited athleticism.

Now that said: can he kick a 25 yard field goal? If so I may change my opinion.

This may be counted as an advanced skill (a.k.a. learned in college), but much like other QB's that have come to Tennessee, he appears to lack the skill to look off defenders and see second and third receivers. Laser lock on primary receiver, telegraphing where he intends to throw the ball, except the one rollout to his left where he threw back to the middle. Granted, his receivers didn't appear to have any problems getting open, but that would change at the next level.
