This group of panelists ranked the UT job as the 4th best job in the SEC. I would venture to say that we are no worse than the 3rd best job, based on the past 5 years.

I honestly don't know squat about missouri. The move to the SEC will be HUGE for their recognition factor. But anyway, I would have guessed three for UT, but I didn't even factor Missouri in the equation.

Missouri basketball is danged good - think they won 30 games this past season - were a #1/#2 seed in the tournament - and lost.

Rare for them to lose at home.

One should expect them to be one of the top 4 basketball programs in the SEC right out of the box..

South Carolina is gonna be scary good -

Mizzou had a great program under Norm Stewart and fared well under Quinn Snyder until his lifestyle and failure to play by the NCAA rules messed the program u. Mike Anderson never did much to get the program doing much of anything. They won a lot of ball games this past saeason, but won as many NCAA Tournament games as the Vols did this past season.

Although the Vols do not have a long storied hoops program, say like UK , Indiana, or UCLA, it is still the second best in SEC history.

Sheeesh and hooooboy TuxAg - I wasn't aware of the fact that the Volunteers made the NCAA tournament.. Fitting that a Bruce Pearl fan yaps about lifestyle failure to play by the rules, etc...

FWIW the SEC of old is dead and gone - incase you missed the recent changes. Adding Missouri and even A&M will change the dynamics of basketball too. Hell Ask the current head basketball coach at Tennessee about Missouri - or the guy at South Carolina or the guy at A&M.
