UT Sports just tweeted a private link to the 1975 victory over Kentucky ... man, I miss John Ward.

Also, was Smokey really that lame? :roflmao:

By the way, Kevin Grevey (who later played for the Washington Bullets) owns a restaurant that is about 2 miles from my house.

It was shorter than I thought. Is there a part 2 video. I really enjoyed what was there. I love looking at old footage in general and especially at a UT sporting event. It's funny with all the things that's changed from then, uniforms, clothing, arenas, scoreboards, one thing that hasn't changed is the bands uniform. BTW, who is the Rodney Woods guy? I've never heard his name mentioned but in that video, it was he, not Ernie nor Bernie, who was the star.

Woods was a scrappy point guard, who was a senior that year. He's the all time single season assist leader at UT and second all time. I think he was 2nd team All SEC in 75...but not sure about that.

There's probably a part 2, but that's the only link I've seen them post.

I've heard a lot about Mike Jackson. He was the shooting guard on this team. Didn't he eventually become the point guard and Johnny Darden the shooting guard?

Nope....Darden was always the point guard. Jackson was rumored to have hit his head on the rim once....I'm not so sure about that, but the man could jump and was an amazing athlete. He fit in very well with Grunfelf and King as he didn't need to be the star. On a lot of teams, he would have been......
