I fully expect the Vols to get a 1 seed. We shall see. They need to play some more basketball and this is their chance. A trip to the Big Apple is a decent consolation prize, if they can earn it!

We got the #1 seed, as you said. We will play at home until the final four of the NIT.

I'm looking forward to seeing them play some more. It's a good chance for our guys to get some more experience playing together...it's not the dance, but it's better than nuthin.....

No. 1 seed in the NIT ain't bad after the so called experts and talking heads were in almost total agreement that this team would finish 11th out of 12 teams in the SEC regular season, which would have most likely meant no post season tournament at all. The extra experience can't help but benefit Stokes and the other younger guys on the team. Practice goes on and I'm glad that Tatum gets to play a couple more times in Knoxville.
If Vols win their first game and Middle wins, that matchup will be a war! I hate that the string of appearances in the NCAA is broken, but maybe, shirley, they will start a new string next season. Lots of things to see and do in New York, I hope they get there.

I was looking at the NIT brackets and realized, that if the SEC teams play up top their potential, we could see 3 SEC teams make it to MSG.
