Oregon and Cal are being linked to a bagman, by the name of Otis Yelverton. Nike CEO and Oregon booster, Phil Knight, is also linked to the alleged illegal recruitment of several high school players from North Carolina. Ducks, Cal: Troubling Ties To ‘Mentor’ Of Recruits We are going to learn that many more schools have been doing much of the same before all is said and done. Remember all the posts on recruiting involving the middle men. We all know about WWW. A kid goes to a Nike school and a family member gets a $100,000 shoe contract from Nike. How can people like WWW and Knight be stopped? I don't think the NCAA knows the answer. |
