Dooley knew what he was doing when he worked Waggner at FS for most of spring drills.

patrickbrownTFP as has been widely predicted, Prentiss Waggner has slid back from CB to Jackson's safety spot. Marsalis Teague & Justin Coleman at CB.
Daygum, there's that Wilks guy again but no Moore in sight. Moore has really performed poorly for most of the camp to this point.

Early consensus: Moore may not be as good as we'd hoped he'd be.

Would be nice if Lofton had gotten into school

CB: Coleman, Lanier
CB: Teague, Evans
Nickel: Gordon, Moore
SS: Brewer, Wilks
FS: Waggner, Randolph, Moore

Indeed, Moore is falling ...

Good to see Gordon get back in the mix. He has some experience and pound for pound, hits about as hard as any DB this side of Brewer.
I really believe that part of the expectations with Moore was the fact that he signed with Southern Cal out of high school so it was almost automatically assumed that he had star potential before he did anything on a collegiate football field.

Moore may be okay eventually. Part of his problem right now is that he is not adjusting very well from JC to SEC, which is understandable to a degree. Couch is having the same problem. However, the other problem is: he's apparently a good bit slower than we thought he was going to be. Not as talented as we thought, definitely not another Janzen.
