Pat Head-Summitt Diagnosed With Early Onset of Dementia

Prayers are in order for this magnificent lady.

Pat will try to coach this season. Knowing her, she will do just fine.

I just hope she can exit gracefully when it's time. She really has nothing left to prove anyway.....

I hate to find humor at such a time.....but the thought of everybody calling her grandmother "Granny Head" is just killing me.......

I am terribly sorry for Pat & her family. My faith (& experience) tells me that going out this way probably is a blessing. There are much worse ways for one to leave; but not many worse for her family. My heart breaks for them all.

I suppose that she is going to coach till whenever, but if it were me and I had that prognosis you would not see me spending my last days of awareness coaching a bunch of snotty nose teenage girls.
