Creating 16 Team Super Conferences For Football The race is on to expand conference footprints into new major metro markets. We are seeing college football conferences evolve from mere regional conferences to cross over into new geographical regions for the same of a new pot of gold and a real opportunity to create a true national championship. It is an exciting time for sports fans wanting to see college football grow up and a tough time for those who want to hold onto old rivalries and old paradigms of conference glory days. College football is a major business and these moves only make it a better game from a business standpoint. |

OK now Tennessee Tuxedo. I don't think that lists makes a bit of sense for the SEC. The purpose is to expose the conferences to bigger TV markets. With OK and OKst you are using 2 of your bullets when you could be using one. I would rather have Kansas than Missouri for basketball reasons and I see nothing on that list that puts you in the Washington DC market. You need either VTech or Maryland. Then you have the Baltimore and DC areas with one team. The 4 expansion teams IMO should be A&M,Kansas,VTech, and Oklahoma. |

I, myself , believe that you only invite Oklahoma. If it has to be a package deal with OK State, you say, thanks but no thanks. If you had read my posts in the other threads, my choices were in order 1) Texas A&M 2) VaTech 3) OK 4) UNC and Duke 5) Mizzou |
