Andrew Gribble is investing a lot of time to tell us the details of UT's NCAA inquiry. There is not much to talk about, since it is water under the bridge and a new group of coaches and UTAD members are in place, but this little pearl sticks out to me:With this in mind, I have lost a lot of respect for, Bruce. He knew what the NCAA was going to ask him and still he lied and lied badly with poor corroboration from the staff. It is no wonder why it is assumed that the staff will be banned from coaching in the NCAA. |

There was a bit of a retraction this morning...Pearl's attorney says that while UT's outside counsel knew of the picture days prior, Pearl and staff only knew the day of the interview with the NCAA. Not that it lessens the infraction, but still... http://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2011/jul/25/pearl-ut-delayed-info-on-photo/ |

Bruce is not too bright...........especially asking Aaron Crafts father to basically lie to the NCAA. But he did a great job of FUCKING his staff. |

It certainly didn't end well for pearlie-poo....even if the outside counsel knew about the picture, it might have been a good idea to alert Pearl he was walking into a mess???? Calling Craft's father was not a bright idea at all. If he'd have just manned up about the whole thing he'd still be coaching. Does anybody know for sure how the NCAA got the picture to begin with? |
