I am sure some of the names African Americans bestow upon their spawn have merit. But more often than not it is the lack of being able to spell names correctly that leads to the off the wall names we see. Dayrick sounds a lot like Derrick to me if you say it with an African American accent. I should make a list of all those type names that piss me off.
