This guys nothing but a drama king. Can anyone here, name me one person who drew this much attention to himself druing the recruiting process, who ended up being a good player? When they act like this, it proves that they are focused on unimportant things and not focused on important things. M.Mustang, Bryce Brown,Domique Robinson, Nukeese Richardson, Chris Donaldson, those are som examples of players who had their only highlights during the recruiting process. This guy is a me first, if we lose out on him, I don't see it a big loss at all.

Eh....you've got a point. I was thinking about Markeith Ambles when reading your list above. I've frankly really had it regarding wide receivers who think they crap gold bars.

I see it as this kid is just having some fun. He can't do anything to help this team this year, so why worry?

I think he is having fun ... nothing wrong with that.

I can never seem to forecast drama queens when it comes to recruiting because their decisions don't often make logical sense. Lots of the "experts" say he's coming to Knoxville, but right now I'm thinking MSU is a higher probability.

Arnett is not one of our make-or-break pursuits. We are good in the WR department, relatively speaking. It would be great for him to commit and deepen what we already have, but no biggie if he doesn't. DT players like Couch and Wright make me much more anxious.

Well we got him. According to what he says. So I guess I'll take him.

I just hope that he's more show than blow...that he will walk the talk.....that he will not steal burgers from hapless rednecks or at least know to hit the john when the crap is going down.......

Arnett said last night that his joking around prior to his announcement was a good-natured jab at those fans at all school who take recruiting too seriously.

I like this kid already. ;)

I wouldn't feel the same way, however....if I was a fan of one of the other schools.

I don't take recruiting all that seriously, and I'd still be annoyed. It's sort of like when Kiffin was here pissing everybody off but Vol fans......
