approaching.. Coaching changes.. Speculation from sources close to the program, i.e. yes men, company men, loyalist types, is that this is thought to be Mack’s last year. It's also speculated that K. Smart is ready to move on - and spend some time with his pal Muschamp.. Another name folks won't find familiar http://www.gostanford.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/shaw_david00.html Edited by humbletx, Nov 8 2010, 11:12 AM.

I have given you a lot if shit lately but yes Mack should step down. I just don't think he is a great coach. Will he leave quietly? |

His record is there for anyone's review, i.e. with winningest coach over the last 12 years. Doesn't make him great, based on some ill defined metrics - but if winning is one of them its hard to ignore the wins. MB as a coach and a person are there for review. He knows the huge coaching failures experienced this year - and some of his long time coaches are going to retire and or get the axe. He doesn't make the excuses of playing 17 true freshmen, injuries, nor the loss of talent to the NFL - this is a coaching deal. Indeed it will be a sad day when he moves on to his next job at UTA. |

I listened to someone on 104.5 in Nashville say last week, that Mack is going nowhere, but there will be changes to his staff for sure. |

Mack Brown does less with more than any coach in football and to think otherwise is either ill informed or stupid. |

You have summed up Humble with that. I gave him a little rope and he hung himself. He sounded just like a Fulmer fuckbuddy with the record speaks for itself horse shit. Brown's record isn't that good considering the cream puff league he is in and even a dumbass like Humble could win with the talent there. |

gotta understand what his strengths as HC are - building programs - track record shows that at both UNC and Texas. winning - yes few have done it as well as Brown. Conference and NC - 2 and 1. Impressive wins in the Rose bowl - including what most believe to be the best one ever. Winning includes on and off the field - and that has been the goal of the football program - and athletics as a whole at UTA. And anytime a single program, like football makes a profit >40 million in a single season. No reason to be impressed - but no coach in the history of the college game compares to his overall "wins". What most miss is "Longhorn, Inc." which kicked off when Dodds hired Brown. |

toots - you retard running mates are a blast.. Of course he and Sally aren't going anywhere. The ill informed or stupid in question probably heard this on one of those backwater radio stations in Nashville; "Mack Brown does less with more than any coach in football and to think otherwise is either ill informed or stupid." #1 WTF doe the ill informed or stupid in question know about "more" at UTA #2 WTF does the ill informed or stupid in question know about 'less" at UTA. Addendum "The scales here are apropos for what’s going behind the scenes at Bellmont with respect to lawyers, lawsuits, and lawyering. Gloria Allred and her merry crew of investigators have done some drilling down concerning the Cleve Bryant allegations and have been successful in soliciting more complainants to join a potential feast at the settlement table. A source close to the case recently disclosed that the allegations may involve at least one member of the coaching staff."'" Davis, Madden, McWhorter, Chambers - out. Moffitt, Smart - in. Doolittle would take a good hard look at hiring Chambers. Edited by humbletx, Nov 9 2010, 11:35 AM.

Anyone that thinks Mack Brown is anything other than a below average coach is stupid, is that transparent enough for you? |
