It was assumed that Robbie Caldwell was going to be a one and done coach at Vandy and that Vandy would look for a new coach. Joe Schad says that Robbie Caldwell told him that he is on a multi-year contract as the head coach at Vandy.
Thats bad news for Phil Fulmer, in his pursuit of the right fit. |

I think if Vanderbilt would offer $2M per year, PF would take that job. I think that would be the perfect fit for him. That way he has an exscuse when things don't work out. He would have to make sure his overall win % doesn't go below 70% for that would eliminate him from getting in the college football hall of fame. That's why Majors can't get in as a coach, he's already in as a player. Plus Fulmer don't have to go to far from home, I think he likes were he lives. |
