A Look at Rajion Neal Neal's signing has run under the radar if he is as good as some say he is. He could contend for playing time as early as this upcoming season or no later than the 2011 season if he is as good as advertised. Don't count on Toney Williams contributing much one year after total reconstructive surgery. He will not likely be up to speed, lack the ability to cut much, and have a psychological block for a while. That leaves Bryce Brown, David Oku, and Tauren Poole in line to grab the carries. |

I wouldn't count Toney out.....he'll be over a year since the surgury by this fall and he's already almost back to full speed - it seems odd that folks are expecting Reveiz to be full speed by fall, but discount Toney, who was hurt four or five months (as I recall) earlier..... I don't know what Dooley did to land Neal, but it must have involved some magic dust. This guy is a GREAT running back and we've already got a full shelf of them. He will make an impact, but it might take him a while to rise through the crowd and see many minutes........ |
