Since we dont have anything better to talk about (because Dooley has taken his mic and gone home, basketball is still basketball, recruiting is over, spring football hasnt started, etc etc).

Name those sanctions! USC gets:

My prediction: 2 years, 20 scholarships, no bowl games, no TV, vacated national championship and wins Bush played in. I think they are hosed.

I predict 4 years, 20 schollies, no bowls for 2 years, vacated victories during Bush years.

The NCAA took a lot less time to go through it's hearings with Bama in the past. USC is screwed as you put it.

I'm torn ...

On the one hand, I think USC is teflon and will get 1 year, 1 schollie, and 1 bowl ...

On the other hand, I wonder if the NCAA wants to stick it to Kiffin like I do. If that is the case, 2 years without bowls, 2 schollies, Kiffin is not allowed to bed coeds, and Orgeron has to keep his shirt on during recruiting visits.

Agreed. I think USC would have skated much lighter had they not hired Kiffin. Considering he spent a year in Knoxville basically painting an NCAA probation bullseye on his back...him taking his 'dream job' at a school on the cusp of probation had to be like mana from heaven for the NCAA compliance/penalty/whatever people. They must have woken up the morning of the announcement saying 'HELL YEAH, ITS ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!'.

Can you imagine how the media will horse laugh Kiffie if USC lands in deep doo-doo with the NCAA after Kiffin left UT to walk the plank on his own accord?

IMO USC will get off way to easy...they might get wins taken away and lose a few schollys...which want hurt USC much, their 2nd teamers could start for alot of schools...We all know Kiffy can fall in shit and come out smelling like a rose...it will happen again...Book IT....hope I'm wrong..
