Johnson - LB Here I Come

Last year was an aberration. We lost 2-3 middle linebackers and most of our LBs were injured at one time or another. Thus he healing will take time and we need players who are able to step in and play LB.

Looking at our depth at linebacker and at the injuries we have, here is our lnebacker situation.

Nick Reveiz and Savion Frazier had knee surgeries.

LeMarcus Thompson was banged up all last year.

Craig King and Herman Lathers will be good ones. King ended the season with broken elbow. Lathers was iffy at best last season and he has that blood disorder where his status is up in the air on a daily basis.

Jerrod Askew is academically ineligible after one semester at UT.

Mitchell-Thornton and Nelson have shown nothing as of yet.

We need help at LB.

A Very Manly Man

The only thing that seems a little odd to me is that they haven't even seen Austin play yet in person. I imagine that he played linebacker in HS.........
