NO reason was given when I heard the news earlier today.

I would guess that he feels that his throwing mechanics need a lot more work. Urban Meyer and his staff did a really poor job of working with his mechanics

Addendum: Tebow will attend the Combine for interviews , but will not take part in physical skills tests.

I believe you are mistaken. Tebow is choosing not to throw at the combine, like McCoy and Bradford, however he still is partaking in the events and waiting to show off his new mechanics at his pro day in Gainesville.

toots just doesn't get it.. the Combine is run by agents these days..
