Coaching Searches Usually Characterized By.....

Coaching searches are usually characterized by a lot of misinformation. While you hear news of something happening in one place with a particular coach, deals are being cut in another place, so that no one knows who the other party is and that other fan base is not all up in arms.

Hammy is smarter than to put all of his cards on the table face up in a game of stud poker.

Sit, back, and be patient. It will happen.

save the U.S. don't let your kid play soccer

Actually, I think Hammy is being "Hamstrung" by Sexton, but honestly, it doesn't matter. Next year is crap anyway. I'm actually beginning to agree with Zippy. Unless it's Bill Cowher nobody is worth the kind of money I'm hearing brandied about. Let's cut our losses and look again when some people are available. I dunno......

A Very Manly Man

I don't like waiting....particularly right now as it feels like our vault door is sitting wide open and the gold is slowly walking out the door. BUT that's life in the big city.....

I'm also not ready to say we need to "settle" for somebody that won't be a great coach. I'm not ready to say that our recruiting class is toast either. Unless the sole reason some kid commits is because of the coach, once the next coach is a known entity, we might be OK. For example Kiffin held on to many of Fulmer's recruits.....at least the ones he wanted to hang on to........

His poker playin' won a good'un when he hired Lane Kiffin..

That Mike Hamilton has a job is borderline amazing - one of the sorriest AD's in the SEC - and that is being polite..
