So, me and a few friends are heading out late last night to see the 9:45 showing of the movie Avatar in 3D. We pull into the parking lot, and one of them (a UT fan) gets a text message ... Kiffin to USC. I laugh. Please, I'm sick of hearing about UT coaches changing ... first it's Orgeron or Monte, now Kiffin. My other friend in the back then pulls up his mobile ESPN site. It's there too. Is this some bad press going out? A bammer joke? Movie starts. Guy arrives at alien planet. For some reason, I'm thinking of Kiffin arriving at USC. Crippled guy. For some reason, I'm thinking of what TN fans want to do with Kiffin. Avatar critter. For some reason, I'm thinking of soul-less persons who seem to talk "integrity" but really have the balls of Bernie Madoff. Business guy who is only concerned about money & himself and not the big picture of life and the lives of others. See "Avatar critter" above. Mass destruction of homes. For some reason, all I can think of is the NCAA placing major sanctions against USC, effectively torching the USC program and crumbling it into little bits. Bottom line. I don't mind that Kiffin left TN so much, but DID IT HAVE TO GET ANNOUNCED 10 MINUTES BEFORE I WENT TO SEE AVATAR???!!!!!!!!!!!???? Ruined the whole movie for me ...
