I'm curious....He tweeted this morning that he would be in Denver today.

Is he talking with Troy Calhoun? or Chris Peterson for that matter?

It is leaking out that Pete Carroll told USC that they needed to hire Kiffin when they asked him to stay.

Well - there is nothing like taking the advice of someone who ran your program in to the ditch is there tootsie?

apologies to the insider from USC - but its gonna be fun to watch the PAC-10 treat Kiffin and his band of merry makers as their very own tethered goat..

“I want to thank Coach Kiffin for his work with our program this past year,” said men’s athletic director Mike Hamilton said in a statement. “We have already begun a search for the new head football coach of the Tennessee Volunteers and we’ll complete this process as quickly as possible to put the right person in place to lead our great football program forward in the months and years ahead.

“Kippy Brown, who has been a critical piece of our success in years past, will serve as interim head coach until this process is completed.”

Wow that sucks donkey ass - Kippy running the program - kinda like hirin' one of those "will work for a few beers" out of work coaches..

Honestly this make Tennessee joke in the eyes of college football Kippy Brown the HC of the Volunteers?

KIPPY FUCKIN" BROWN is the best Hamilton can trot out - WTF - Make Pat Summit the HC for a couple weeks - at least she has a set of brass balls..

Burning Man, 2009 FOREVER

Just needs someone to go outside and pull the football team away from the riot before they all get arrested, I guess.

Kippy Brown for "recruiting reasons"? Who the fuck is KIPPY BROWN?

KIPPY BROWN - a guy who hung around till he qualified for his retirement benefits from the NFL?

That is the best Hamilton can come up with these days Kippy 'I was sittin' on my ass with nothing else to do" Brown?

Why not ask John Majors to step in for awhile - at least he can come off as a creditable - and those rings might be a little old - but he has accomplished something and knows a thing or two about recruiting.
