SEC East: Gaters first ... Vols second?

The Vols control their destiny at this point, and have a great opportunity to end up at 4-3 in the SEC. Since we beat both GA and SC, that would put us in second.

Not a bad prospect for a team forecast by many "experts" at the first of the season to end up dead last or fifth in the SECE.

Actually we play eight SEC games....sc, ky, vandy, ga, fl, bammer, aub, ole miss, so we could wind up 5 -3 and in second place in the east. I would take that and run with happily.....

If we win out, we would finish second in the East. Right now, we are in 4th based on the number of games we have played versus the number of games other teams in the East have played.

Plus, I always forget about Kentucky ... :P
